Hot Stamper Pressings of the Music of Neil Young Available Now

I have purchased a few Hot Stampers in the past, and recently purchased my first Super Hot Stamper of Zuma.
The sound is amazing!
I’ve been patiently building my system around yours (still need an EAR 324), used the Talisman, cranked up the vintage Japanese low wattage receiver and VPI SDS, put the vinyl on the TT Weights carbon mat that is sitting on the original Aries with the Tri-Planar, which sits on the Aurios, closed my eyes and wow – vintage Neil was in my living room – see attached photo (I know the Focus are way too close to the wall – my space is extremely limited right now)!
Still do not understand why all those who like to complain about Better Records do not give it a shot given the 30 day return policy. They are missing out and will never know!

So happy to hear that you liked that copy of Zuma as much as we did. Like you say, the louder the better, and only a top quality pressing will let you turn up the volume as loud as your system can play and have it still be enjoyable.
One reason turning up your volume is such a great test is that the louder the problem, the harder it is to ignore.
Like Ryan, some of our other customers have written us letters about how revelatory our Hot Stamper pressings had been to them, and we know exactly what they mean. We heard the best of them ourselves, in a shootout, head to head with other copies. That’s the only way to know — for sure — if a copy is the real deal.
In the past, we’ve stumbled upon plenty of copies of famous albums that blew our minds. We call them breakthrough pressings. They are the kinds of records we live for around here.
The fact that they are often not from the “right” country, or far from original, demonstrates that most of what passes for collector knowledge is absurdly incomplete, or downright wrong. Either way, it is without question unreliable, regardless of what the posters on the various audiophile forums may tell you.
